Interpipe increases first-half output, sales amid war
Ukrainian pipemaker Interpipe increased crude steel production in the first half of the year, the company says. The volume amounted to 344,000 tonnes, up by 20.3% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Six-month output of pipe was more by 19% to 209,000t and production of railway products increased by 17.5% to 47,000t.
At the same time, the company notes that in the first half of 2022, capacity was suspended for 2-2.5 months, making a year-on-year comparison difficult.
