Iran's KSC nears billet tender conclusion, prices higher
Iranian steel producer Khouzestan Steel Company (KSC) is about to close its latest billet export tender following the 26 March deadline for receiving bids, notes Kallanish.
According to sources close to KSC, the highest bid was at $481/tonne fob for loading in early May, for a 20,000-50,000-tonne package. The deal is expected to be finalised with the highest bidder during open negotiations.
