JSPL eyes crude steel, pellet capacity expansions
Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) aims to expand its crude steel production to 12.9 million tonnes/year in the fiscal year ending 31 March 2024 (FY24) from the current 9.6m t/y, JSPL informs.
The company will raise its Angul facility capacity by 3.3m t/y to 12.9m t/y in FY24. It will then add a further 3m t/y to reach 15.9m t/y of production capacity in FY25, Kallanish notes.
