JSPL’s output, sales increase; exports fall amid duties
Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL)’s crude steel production increased 5% on-year to 2.06 million tonnes in the third fiscal quarter through December (FQ3), against 1.96mt produced a year earlier. Output was also up 13% on-quarter against 1.82mt produced in FQ2, on the back of stable demand in the domestic market, JSPL says in a note seen by Kallanish.
