JSPL’s crude steel output falls, sales grow marginally
Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL)’s crude steel production dropped 1.5% on-year to 7.89 million tonnes in the fiscal year ended 31 March 2023 (FY23) against 8.01mt produced a year earlier. Deliveries however inched up to 7.68mt in FY23 against 7.64mt in FY22, the steel company says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The company’s pellet production dropped 2.45% to 7.57mt in FY23 versus 7.76mt produced in FY22. External pellet sales meanwhile plunged 69.33% to 0.…
