JSW, JFE Steel launch electrical steel joint venture
Indian steelmaking major JSW Steel has established a 50:50 joint venture with Japanese steel manufacturer JFE Steel Corporation – JSW JFE Electrical Steel Private Limited, Kallanish notes.
According to JSW’s bourse filing, the JV will have a planned investment of INR 55 billion ($661.96 million) and its manufacturing base will be located in Bellary district, Karnataka.
