JSW Steel orders CSP Nexus plant from SMS
Indian steelmaking major JSW Steel has placed an order to technology supplier SMS for a CSP Nexus Plant, Kallanish notes.
The plant will have a capacity of 4 million tonnes/year, making it the highest capacity for this type of a single-strand caster in the world, SMS says. It is set to go online in 2026 and will be located at JSW’s Dolvi manufacturing site on Maharashtra’s west coast.
