JSW Steel’s February production rises 5%
Indian steelmaker JSW Steel’s total crude steel production rose to 2.15 million tonnes in February, Kallanish notes, up 5% year-on-year.
Indian operations segment crude steel production accounted for 2.06mt, up 4% on-year, JSW Steel says in its bourse filing. Indian operations also noted a capacity utilisation of 92% during the period. The JSW Steel USA Ohio segment reported February production increased by 24% y-o-y to 91,000t.
