Leader Steel earnings surge amid higher revenue
Malaysian steel products maker Leader Steel has seen its earnings surge in the fourth quarter of 2023 due to a gain on fair value adjustment on investment properties, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a bourse filing that its net profit soared more than 24 times to MYR 14.52 million ($3.07m) in the fourth quarter from MYR 591,000 a year ago.
