MMK increases domestic market railway shipments, exports fall
Russian steelmaker MMK increased shipments by rail in January-October, according to Russian Railways (RDZ) data. The volume amounted to 8.06 million tonnes, which is 5.3% higher compared with the same period last year, Kallanish notes.
Rail-delivered supplies to the Russian market amounted to 7.44mt, up 24% on-year, with exports at 620,000 tonnes, down 62%.
