NLMK upgrade improves sinter quality
NLMK Lipetsk has completed the reconstruction of dosing and process control systems at the site for preparing raw materials for sintering machine No.3, the company says. The RUB 143 million ($1.8 million) investment will improve the quality of the sinter due to higher dosage accuracy, the steelmaker says.
The equipment was replaced in stages during planned shutdowns of the units for repairs.
