NLMK increases domestic-market railway shipments, exports fall

Russian steelmaker NLMK increased shipments by rail in February, according to Russian Railways (RDZ) data. The volume amounted to 980,000 tonnes, which is 3% higher compared with the same period last year, but 3.5% less than January, Kallanish notes. Rail-delivered supplies to the Russian market totalled 400,000t, up 9% on-year, with exports at 580,000t, down 1.1%.
