NLMK revamps PPGI line, increases product quality
NLMK Lipetsk has started a project to overhaul its pre-painting line (PPL-1), the company says.
Its productivity is 195,000 tonnes/year of pre-painted steel, Kallanish notes. Investment in the project will exceed RUB 500 million ($6.5m).
The project is being implemented jointly with Danieli. Work is currently underway to develop the design documentation. Construction and installation will begin in March 2021 and take two months.
