NMDC iron ore output tanks in March
Indian state-owned miner NMDC’s monthly iron ore production figures tumbled year-on-year in March, the final month of its 2019-20 fiscal year. Sales of iron ore also dipped sharply on the same comparison. This meant that year-to-date volumes for both categories ended lower than for the equivalent volumes in fiscal 2019, Kallanish notes.
