NMDC’s September iron ore output, deliveries recover
After two consecutive falls in production and deliveries, Indian state-run iron ore miner NMDC registered growth in operational performance in September. The miner’s output increased marginally, by 1% on-year to 2.73 million tonnes last month, against 2.69mt produced a year earlier, while deliveries rose 7% to 2.91mt, Kallanish notes.
