JSW Steel lays giant steel plant foundation stone
Indian steelmaking major JSW Steel says Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik laid the foundation stone for its “green” steel manufacturing complex in Odisha on 16 February.
The plant will have a 13.2 million tonnes/year capacity, with JSW Steel investing INR 650 billion ($7.83 billion) over multiple phases, Kallanish notes.
