Rana Gruber boosts first-quarter output, sales
Rana Gruber’s iron ore concentrate production grew 7% on-year in the first quarter to 434,000 tonnes. Sales of hematite, the firm’s main product, grew 10% to 423,000t, comprising seven shipments, Kallanish notes.
Full-year 2022 concentrate output rose 5% on-year to 1.73 million tonnes, with hematite accounting for 1.63mt. Hematite sales rose 5% to 1.52mt. Revenue and net profit however fell 15% and 18% respectively to NOK 1.42 billion ($135.1 million) …
