LKAB cuts production, sees prices drop
LKAB has cut production by 1 million tonnes/year following recent rail transport disruptions and could close parts of the business if delivery capacity is not restored. High-grade iron ore product prices fell at the end of the first quarter, but demand remains strong, the Swedish miner says.
