Rana Gruber increases second-quarter iron ore sales
Iron ore producer Rana Gruber sold 400,000 tonnes of hematite iron ore concentrate in the second quarter, up 20% on-year and 4% on-quarter. Magnetite sales totalled 24,000t.
Overall concentrate production in Q2 was however 393,000t, down 2% and 3% on-quarter, Kallanish notes.
Hematite sales in the first half of the year thus rose 10% on-year to 783,000t.
