Rana Gruber posts record annual iron ore production
Rana Gruber iron ore concentrate production inched down 2% on-year in the fourth quarter of 2023 to 452,000 tonnes. The decline was limited despite the five-day scheduled maintenance stop conducted to implement improvements to the magnetite circuit and minor upgrades for the Fe65 project, the Norwegian miner says.
Sales of hematite concentrate, the firm’s main product, however, rose 9% in Q4 to 406,000t.
