Tata’s output rises marginally, domestic offtake supports deliveries
Tata Steel’s crude steel output grew marginally, by 2% on-year to 5.01 million tonnes in the fiscal quarter ending 30 June 2023. Production, however, dropped 3% on-quarter against 5.15mt produced in the March quarter, Kallanish notes.
"Production was lower on-quarter on planned maintenance shutdowns," the steel company informs.
