Turkish domestic scrap rises further amid halted imports
Most Turkish mills have further increased their domestic scrap buying prices since last week, Kallanish notes.
Demand for domestic scrap appears quite strong, while demand for deep-sea scrap is just the opposite. This is mostly the result of weak steel sales making mills reluctant to commit to large tonnages.
