Turkish scrap demand yet to revive, prices pressured
Scrap demand in Turkey has had a quiet start to the week, following the long Eid holiday, as mills initially wish to gauge steel sales. This comes amid increased political tension in the Middle East and export restrictions to Israel, which was Turkey’s second-largest rebar market even during the war with Hamas.
