Turkish domestic scrap stable, imports continue decline
Most Turkish mills have kept their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged this week, while imported scrap prices continue to decline, Kallanish notes.
On Wednesday, a western Turkish long steel mill bought a US-origin cargo comprising HMS 1&2 80:20 at $413/tonne and bonus and shredded at $433/t cfr Turkey.
