Turkish merchant bar quotes remain stable
Turkish merchant bar producers are keeping their export quotes mostly stable even though raw-material prices increased, according to market participants.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $630-640/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars and IPE sections, unchanged from the previous week.
However, lower prices are available from some aggressive producers who were more motivated to sell.
