Ukraine pipemakers decrease production amid logistics problems
Ukraine’s pipemakers decreased production in January-June, says national pipemaker association Ukrtruboprom.
Total volume produced amounted to 226,900 tonnes, down by 27% on-year, Kallanish notes. In June alone, pipe manufacturers decreased production by 35.5% on-year to 43,200t, also down by 15.9% compared to May.
In particular, Interpipe Niko Tube pipe production fell 14% on-year. Centravis decreased output by 25%, and Turbostal production was down by 44%…
