worldsteel delays issuing Short Range Outlook until June
The World Steel Association (worldsteel) will not be issuing its Short Range Outlook as it usually does in April, Kallanish learns from the organisation.
“The current plan would be to release a full SRO in June when it is hoped we can make a clearer assessment on steel use going forward,” the association says in a statement on its website. This is due primarily to the disruption caused to both steel companies and steel users by the Covid-19 pandemic.
