Hadeed 's second-quarter revenue declines, loss widens
Saudi Arabian petrochemical giant Sabic's wholly owned subsidiary, Saudi Iron & Steel Company (Hadeed), reported a 6% on-quarter decline in second-quarter revenue to SAR 3.07 billion ($820 million), Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker registered an Ebitda loss of SAR 18m versus a positive Ebitda of SAR 116m in Q1. Its loss from operations deepened to SAR 290m in Q2 versus a loss of SAR 160m in Q1.
