India sees rise in July coking coal production
Indian coking coal production increased 13.48% on-year to 4.99 million tonnes in July, against 4.4mt produced a year earlier, India’s coal ministry informs. This also includes 0.58mt of captive production, up 18.81% versus 0.49mt last year.
Output grew marginally on-month, by 1% versus 4.94mt produced in June, Kallanish notes.
