India’s June coking coal production ticks up
Indian coking coal production grew 10.10% on-year to 4.94 million tonnes in June, against 4.49mt produced a year earlier, India’s coal ministry informs. This also includes 0.49mt of captive production, up 9.31% versus 0.45mt last year.
Output, however, dropped 5% on-month versus 5.2mt produced in May, Kallanish notes.
