India’s September coking coal production increases
Indian coking coal production increased 9.63% on-year to 4.69 million tonnes in September, compared to 4.28mt produced a year earlier, India’s coal ministry informs. This also includes 0.51mt of captive production, up 17.36% versus 0.43mt last year.
Output, however, dropped on-month, by 1.68% versus 4.77mt produced in August, Kallanish notes.
