JSPL operational performance surges, expects further price hikes
Owing to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, commodity prices have surged to a new level. Energy prices, coupled with coal and ferroalloys offers are skyrocketing, pushing steel prices higher, says Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL).
JSPL’s crude steel production grew marginally by 1% on-year to 657,000 tonnes in February. Deliveries grew 8% on-year to 590,000t, against 547,000t sold in last year, Kallanish notes.
