JSPL posts rise in annual steel output, deliveries
Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL)’s crude steel production grew 7% on-year to 8.01 million tonnes in the fiscal year ended 31 March 2022 against 7.51mt produced a year earlier. Deliveries surged 5% to 7.63mt in FY22 against 7.28mt in FY21. This marks the company’s highest ever production since its inception. JSPL aims to produce 9mt in the fiscal year ending 31 March, 2023, Kallanish notes.
