JSPL sees fall in output on maintenance shutdown
Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL)’s crude steel production fell 6% on-year to 1.82 million tonnes in the second fiscal quarter through September (FQ2) against 1.93mt produced a year earlier. Output was also down 9% on-quarter, against 1.99mt produced in FQ1, due to a maintenance shutdown at the Raigarh plant, JSPL says in a note seen by Kallanish.
