Miory Steel eyes increasing output under new owner
Belarus-based Miory Steel, now owned by Beltsvetmet, is planning to increase production, says the plant’s deputy general director, Vladimir Dyakonov.
In January-February, Miory produced around 10,500 tonnes of tinplate, and 6,500t in March, Kallanish notes.
Production in 2022, including downtime for the whole first quarter, was 31,000t.
