Nickel prices fall back from highs
Nickel prices in Shanghai and London entered a downward trajectory earlier this week on expectations of more supply from Indonesia, Kallanish notes.
Market players say Indonesia will accelerate its approval process of mining quotas. On Tuesday, a senior Indonesian mining ministry official said the country had issued 152.62 million tonnes of nickel ore mining quotas, compared with 145mt by the end of February.
