Rana Gruber enters higher-priced iron ore swap contracts
Norwegian miner Rana Gruber has agreed iron ore swap contracts for a combined 60,000 tonnes in the third quarter of 2024 at an average price of $120/tonne. This compares to swap contracts for Q2 2024 done at average $114.25/t.
The latest swap contracts relate to physical shipments in Q2 2024. Final financial settlement of these shipments will be connected with the swap contracts, Rana Gruber says.
